Rachel has been performing also for several years and is well known for her gentle melodic style of guitar playing which is the result of disciplined practice and technical knowledge. Her style complements Lynne's intuitive guitar playing producing a very grounded performance flavoured with the unexpected. Rachel is an accomplished bodhran player who trained a UK Champion and brings this skill to some of the song set. Rachel is currently developing her intuitive music skills on the low whistle .Lynne, as a qualified coach, is supporting Rachel to step outside her comfort zone and the results can be experienced during a simple, lyric scarce song called 'Forever'.
Rachel has written a few songs which are beautifully penned with balance and structure. The most popular of these is The Phoenix followed closely by Round the Wrekin and The Chimes of Man.
Rachel is also an accomplished windsurfer and has represented UK in The World Championships in Mexico.
